WEST NEW YORK - The effort to recall Mayor Silverio "Sal" Vega and the four other commissioners has come to a halt, at least for now.

Town Clerk Carmela Riccie announced yesterday that Dr. Felix Roque and his "Together We Can" group failed to provide enough valid signatures of registered voters to proceed with a special election.
