Hudson immigration rights groups to march to Elizabeth Detention Center PDF Print E-mail

More than 70 people representing 25 groups from across New Jersey plan to mark International Human Rights Day today at noon by marching 6.5 miles from the Federal Immigration Building in Newark to Elizabeth Detention Center.

All the groups participating in the March for Humane Immigration Policy -- including six from Hudson County -- are contacting their members of Congress to inform them about the walk and urge their support for humane immigration policy. Many others plan to call their congressmen and the same demand.
