Driver blames crash on GPS unit |

RUTHERFORD — A driver involved in a two-car collision that slowed the commute on Route 17 this morning told police that he was programming a GPS unit when he ran a red light, police said. The sedan driven by Eberardo Librado of North Carolina then struck a car driven by Nancy Mainster of Bayonne, who was driving south on Route 17 about 3 a.m., Lt. Patrick Feliciano said.
