MEXICO CITY — Hurricane Norbert has weakened to a category 1 storm as it approaches Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the storm's maximum sustained winds have decreased to 90 mph. It is expected to continue to weaken as it turns toward land.
