Second patient with Legionnaires' disease dies at New Brunswick hospital |

A second patient who contracted Legionnaires' disease at a New Brunswick hospital has died, officials announced today, saying the outbreak had been linked to the facility's water system. Six patients at Saint Peter's University Hospital had been diagnosed with the disease, a type of pneumonia that proves fatal in up to 30 percent of cases, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
