New Jersey's U.S. attorney could give Gov. Jon S. Corzine a tough run for re-election, according to a new poll. The Quinnipiac University poll released today finds U.S. Attorney Chris Christie and Corzine about even in a hypothetical matchup. In the telephone poll of 1,519 registered voters, 41 percent favored Christie, a Republican, and 40 percent preferred Corzine.
