Southampton - A Hispanic male was struck by a westbound Long Island Railroad train at 1:46 a.m. according to Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) police and a first-hand rescue account of a member of the response crew which included members of the Southampton Village Fire Department, Southampton Village Police and Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
