Changes in routines can make caregivers forgetful
What kind of parent would leave her child unattended in a car?
Many are loving caretakers with too many errands or a change in routine, car safety experts say. And incidences of children left in cars have grown since the advent of passenger seat air bags, which require young children to sit in the back of cars and outside a parent's immediate view.
