NEW YORK -- Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez won the popular vote and will join shortstop Derek Jeter and closer Mariano Rivera on the American League All-Star team, which was announced today. The lone representative for the Mets in the National League was closer Billy Wagner. The All-Star Game will be at Yankee Stadium July 15.
