HERALD NEWS The 14 students in caps and gowns chose to sing about their struggles in Spanish, but they used English to recount their hopes for the future. Those students graduated Thursday morning from Paterson's Academic Community English Services program, which instructs teenagers from Spanish-speaking countries who arrive in Paterson without an eighth-grade education.
