National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) New York Chapter President Dan Suarez recently met with local politicians to elicit additional grants for women and minorities in nursing.

These include funds to support nursing schools, scholarship grants, and grants for the student nurse mentoring program at NAHN. Suarez was invited by the Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey.
