MyCentralJersey.com As Mayor-elect Wilda Diaz prepares to put her transition team in place, she is invited city residents to become part of the process. Diaz and her City Council-elect running mates, Fernando Gonzalez and Kenneth Balut, who all ran together on the United for Change slate, are seeking input from city residents about issues that concern them. "It is important to me that the residents participate in the decision making process. For far too long we were shut out and not included in important decisions made by the current administration under the Vas leadership,' said Diaz who will take office on July 1. "I will be reaching out to (Mayor) Joe Vas to meet with him personally so as to ensure a smooth transition for city residents,' she said.
