By CHRIS JORDAN Menudo, the ever-pubescent Latino boy band that caused a cultural ripple in the 1980s, is back, and the new fantastic five know they have some pretty big dancing shoes to fill. "People are asking us if we're scared; actually, honestly, not," said member Carlos Olivero, 17, of Chicago. "The way we work is that as long as we're happy and having fun, we're doing something right. We go on stage and give it our all. We're trying to show the world that we know what we're capable of and we're trying to continue the legacy of Menudo. We know that they were the best of the best back in the day, the original boy band." The original Menudo was formed in 1977 and was composed of teenage Puerto Rican boys who would exit the group when they turned 16. The guys had innocence and charm and sold more than 60 million records worldwide, marking their biggest success in the 1980s with 13 consecutive sellout shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and a concert for 500,000 in Mexico City.
