By MATT KATZ A special education teacher at Moorestown High School wanted graphic novels to entice her students to read. A Teach For America member in Camden needed materials for the after-school Science Society at Cream Family School. And in Gloucester Township, a teacher imagined a world where she had enough pencils to hand out to eighth-graders who come to school, for whatever reason, unprepared. In the past teachers paid for these sorts of items that get squeezed out of ever-tightening school budgets. But now, there's help online. Through a Web site launched in New Jersey this school year, teachers write a short grant request and anyone with a few bucks to spare for education can pick a school, choose a project and donate.
