2008 Community Forum: Faces of AIDS

On Tuesday, March 25, the 2008 Community Forum: Faces of AIDS will take place at The Brownstone, 351 West Broadway, Paterson, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

This initiative is sponsored by the HIV Health Services Planning Council of Paterson, Passaic County and Bergen County; and P-TAS: People Take Action Save Lives.

The forum is designed to reach and teach people living with HIV/AIDS, caregivers, local public officials, law enforcement, health and support organizations, faith-based groups, and community leaders.   Participants will have an excellent opportunity to take the extra step and learn of available resources and issues related to HIV/AIDS.

The forum will provide information about HIV health care initiatives and resources, including P-TAS, the Paterson needle exchange program and HIV-health care planning.  Forum participants also will have an opportunity to meet and speak with Ryan White HIV-care providers and hear from medical professionals and people living with HIV/AIDS on the status of AIDS in our communities.
