By HEATHER APPEL PATERSON -- Citing a rash of layoffs and poor working conditions, about 20 current and former Princeton Laundry workers and union representatives picketed the Wood Street facility in Paterson Thursday. "They're thieves because they're robbing us of our benefits," said Nelsa Sanchez, an employee who started working for the industrial laundry company three years ago when it was located in the South Bronx. At issue is a union contract that covered workers while the 80-year-old company operated in the Bronx. When it moved to Paterson last April, some New York workers followed the company while other local workers were hired.
