By SUZANNE RUSSELL Luis DeJesus, 9, eats breakfast every day. Why? "Because it keeps you active and running. It helps you be smart and athletic," said Luis, a fourth-grade pupil at the Anthony V. Ceres Elementary School who plays baseball, basketball and hockey. "It makes me feel stronger." Classmate Khiabet Cordero, 9, said eating breakfast gives her energy. She plans to look for Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables the next time she goes shopping with her family. Khiabet and Luis are among the school's nutrition ambassadors who will spread the word about eating healthy. The pupils and other fourth-graders shared a breakfast of cereal, low fat milk, juice and yogurt Monday morning with New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Charles M. Kuperus and U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Regional Administrator Patricia Dombroski in celebration of a National School Breakfast Week.
