Senator Menendez headlines Saturday GOTV bus tour in NJ |

By LatinosNJ.com Senator Bob Menendez will headline a bus tour across New Jersey on Saturday in support of Hillary Clinton, the New Jersey campaign office announced Thursday. Menendez, who will be joined by elected officials, labor leaders and activists, will be making stops in Jersey City, New Brunswick, Cherry Hill, Glassboro and Long Branch.
“The group will talk to voters at retail stops and motivate supporters and volunteers at Get Out the Vote rallies across the state,” according to the campaign.
The list of participants who will join Menendez, a co-chair of the national campaign, includes Emily’s List founder Ellen Malcolm, New Hampshire Senate President Sylvia Larsen, Kerry Kennedy, and Congressmen Albio Sires, Robert Andrews, and William Pascrell.
The group will kick off the tour at a 9 a.m. stop at the Brownstone Diner in Jersey City, and then head down to New Brunswick for an 11 a.m. New Jersey Women for Hillary rally at the Douglass College campus center. At 1 p.m., the bus is scheduled to stop at Ponzio’s Diner in Cherry Hill followed by a 2:45 p.m. labor rally at IUPAT District Council 1331, Painters Labor Hall in Glassboro. The day ends in Long Branch with a 4:45 p.m. rally at Pallone’s campaign office.
