Courier-Post staff Assistant Superintendent Luis Pagan has retired and the board on Tuesday was considering hiring Davida Coe-Brockington, principal of the Creative Arts High School, to replace him. Pagan, who has been with the district 21 years, was accused by a former district principal of being involved in a test-rigging scandal at Brimm Medical Arts High School in 2005. An internal investigation did not find him responsible but said he was "less than truthful" with investigators.
