Students in New Brunswick yesterday learned what could happen when they don't take an active role in their community.

Sixth-graders at Livingston School worked with AmeriCorps' members and with New Jersey's Community Water Watch program, which educates people about the importance of water quality issues, to determine the best way to solve a water pollution problem.
