Governor Corzine will host the second Latino Economic Growth Expo of a series of three expos he will host in the year 2007-2008. The events are free and open to the public. Registration is suggested by calling 609-777-0994. The next Latino Economic Growth Expo is January 12, 2008 in Camden from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The expo will be held at Rutgers University- Camden Campus at the Student Center located at 326 Penn Street, Camden. The third expo will be held March 8, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in New Brunswick. Location to be announced. The first Governor's Latino Economic Growth Expo was held November 10, 2007 in Newark at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) where more than 100 Latino businesses and entrepreneurs came together with NJ state agencies and representatives from the State economic sector. Governor Jon S. Corzine attended the event and spoke on the need to tap into the Latino entrepreneurial spirit to partner in creating businesses and growing New Jersey's economy.
