GOVERNOR CORZINE TAKES ACTION ON LEGISLATION

TRENTON - Governor Jon S. Corzine today took action on the following legislation:

S-1519/A-2751 (Weinberg, Coniglio/Johnson, Vainieri Huttle) – CONDITIONAL VETO – Permits county board of taxation to extend municipality’s filing deadline for assessment appeals for any year in which revaluation is implemented.

AS for A-2134/SCS for S-1849 (Cohen, Prieto/Buono) – CONDITIONAL VETO – Regulates dental decisions by insurers and third party administrators and provides for limited dentist registration certificates.

S-2449/A-2929 (Lesniak/Giblin, Payne) – SIGNED – Transfers Division of Elections from Department of Law and Public Safety to Department of State; designates Secretary of State as chief election official.

A-4208/S-249 (Panter, Munoz, Cohen/Palaia) – SIGNED – Designated the “Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Education and Research Program Act.”
