By SARAH GREENBLATT Rutgers-Camden offers what officials say is the nation's first doctoral degree-granting program in childhood studies. Launched this fall, Rutgers' Childhood Studies program combines social sciences like psychology and sociology with humanities, such as philosophy, literature and history.
