It is truly amazing what the Spanish language programing people thinks of their audience. I have many times tried to watch some programs, but the reality is that many of those programs are geared to third or fourth grade children, particularly the "comedies". Today, Saturday, on the Univision program called "Fabrica de Risas", a "comedian" was making fun of deaf-mute people. Here is the sadder part, the audience was hysterical! They apparently thought that he was the funniest "comedian" on the face of the earth. His jokes were the type that an eight year old would say. I have on other occassions tried to watch some of the other "comedies", and for the life of me, I simply can not find them funny at all! At other times they have made fun of people with handicaps and/or race.

One should wonder as to where are the head honchos of these TV stations that allow such crude and insulting "comedians" to get away with those insulting comments. Perhaps THEIR opinion of their audience is  crude and insulting as well, think of their audience as low class,  and not intelligent enough. Angry Angry

And lets not forget some of those commercials that apparently are geared towards people with extremely low intelligence and gullible and easily taken in because what his/her name the famous soap opera and/ or singer says about the product. Commercials that no self respecting TV station would even consider airing for fear of the FCC and alienating their audience.

I think that well respected personalities and the media should speak out against those stations that air all that thrash. Of course, some those "personalities" may find it difficult to speak against the the hands that feed them. Sad
