Appears like Hillary is calling it quits on Friday.  Doesn't look like Obama is running to the phone to get her to be his runningmate.  I bet a lot of Latinos would want him to annoint her as VP -- but does it really matter who he picks?  Are Latinos going to be any better off?  Perhaps he should took a long hard look at Bill Richardson.  Ah well ... Maybe everyone should take a nice break from all this political stuff and go to the Puerto Rican Day Parade in NY.

I believe that Hillary Clinton would be a very poor choice for VP, as she gives me the impression, should she become Vice President, that she will not settle for the second banana spot. She would try to give her two cents worth whenever decisions are made. She also gives me the impression of being a vindictive woman, and losing the nomination is not something she had anticipated. Her massive ego could not tolerate being in the background, as it were.

When JFK was assasinated, I remember thinking that VP Johnson had a hand in it. He too had a massive ego. I'm not implying that H. Clinton would think the same way, but who knows.

Most Americans, I believe, would not tolerate another "minority" member such as Bill Richardson for the VP spot, as they may feel that our country may "controlled by "minorities", such as it were. C'est la vie.

I think that at this point in time, the Puerto Rican Day Parade, is the best thing to do and while there, eat some cuchifritos and mofongo!!!
